Find Innovative and Supportive Memory Care
Nearly 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s disease today, with that number projected to more than double by 2050. If you notice that a loved one or friend is becoming forgetful or showing signs of memory loss, how do you determine whether the changes are simply due to aging, or if something more is happening?
Dementia encompasses a number of conditions and symptoms can vary greatly. Consider scheduling a consultation with a medical professional if your loved one has significant difficulty with at least two of the following:
- Communication or language
- Ability to focus or pay attention
- Reasoning or judgment
- Visual perception
While there are differences between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, the emotional impact on families remains the same. If your loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related condition, Uplands Village can provide the comfort and support they need with around-the-clock personal care. We offer innovative programs and living arrangements that improve the quality of life for those living with memory challenges. Our memory care residents experience purposeful living that contributes to their physical, emotional and spiritual wellness.
